Is there anything available for around that price for 1 maybe even 2 bedrooms?

I know its not an apartment but some of my buddies used to rent a basement about a 10 minute walk from yonge / sheppard (just off willowdale) for $800 a month. It was 2 bedroom plus a decent size foyer and living room.
your probably not going to get in the newer condos but if you inquire at those buildings right above the sheppard center I bet you can get a room at that price.
