Does anybody here subscribe to MLB.TV (http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/video/mlb_tv.jsp)?
i'm considering getting a season subscription for my cousin, who i know would really enjoy it...
anybody know how they prevent multiple users from logging in? i.e. i would login to my cousin's account whenever i wanted to watch a game...
and can you bypass local blackouts (by, say using a proxy server)?
and anybody actually subscribe to the service?

Tharsan, did you figure out the answers to your questions yet?
I'm interested in subscribing to this.

I've been thinking about this too. If I could share it with some buddies (especially those outside of Canada who want to catch the Jays), it'd be a definite buy.

It is possible to have a couple account in the same area city.A while different game when you go out side the country.Aslo only one of you could be useing the service.3 or 4 of you can't be logged in at the same time.

Why don't you guys go for the Rogers Sport Package ?
I just think it's more economical because you have access to other sports like NHL Centre Ice, NFL, college stuff
I understand MLB.TV is good for mobility i.e. if you have a laptop and an Internet connection but if you have any other reasons for MLB.TV rather than the Rogers Sports Package, i'd like to hear it

MLB.TV is supposed to offer every single game throughout the entire season (except regional blackouts), Rogers' Sports Package doesn't. I'd like the option of toggling between different feeds to see key matchups/plays.

Rogers sports pack will be missing 12 games not key games.Mlbtv is alright i had it last year my issues was it froze alot if the internet went down so did mlbtv. If yo want to toggle there is about a 30 second delay going from one to the other. Some times there are issues with the streams.I would say as a last resort go to mlbtv for me i will be getting 800 games this year and i am very happy with that.

Not too sure why you would want to have access to all the ball games ? I appreciate all the nuances and subtleties (sp ?) that baseball has to offer but to be frank, the game is just too boring to watch, either in person or on TV...i find myself usually reading a book or checking out some websites while a Jays game is on the tube...talk about multi-tasking :)
Not too sure why you would want to watch say, a Colorado Rockies vs. the Milwaukee Brewers game either. Fantasy baseball ? or a sports bettor ? I am into the latter and I don't even watch those games.
But i guess to each his own.
