Hey guys,

I am interested in doing a price check on a car that I want to sell.
It is a 2000 BMW 323 CI approx 128,000 KM, fully loaded (automatic, power seats, heated seats, cd player, sunroof). All service done at the BMW dealership and well maintained.

No visible scratch or dings on the car.

What's would one pay for a car like that? Thanks in advance. Also, if you could provide me with the high or low end range it'll be much appriecated.

Thanks,
Kevin

Autotrader.ca has a tool that will give you ballpark high/low figures. Do a quick search through the listings to confirm to though...

I had access to one that was selling for $25k with only 60,000km.
With 128,000km, CDN Black Book says the car is worth only $14k to $16k. You'll have to research on autotrader to see what the market value is. You shouldn't pay anything more than $22k when you can get it at an auction for $14k to $16k. This should give you enough room to pay for any market premiums due to lack of supply/increased demand, etc. if that is the case.

The description of the vehicle is still quite sketchy; that's part of the reason why the lowest and highest current selling point of the vehicle varies so much.

Does it have any sport package, what type of leather, what transmission, HID headlights, Navigation, etc.

$14-18K is more reasonable.
