Spectro Gel from shoppers drug mart is not bad it cleans your pores and bacteria from your face. use every morning and be4 you goto sleep.

It depends, if you've already tried over the counter stuff and it doesn't work, go see a doctor (doesn't have to be a dermatologist) and they can prescribe something. If that doesn't work, you go back and they give you something stronger or recommend a dermatologist.

Is it a mild or complicated case of acne?

If it's mild, any over-the-counter benzoyl peroxide-based creams will minimize the acne. If it's complicated, see a doctor. They'll likely prescribe Accutane. That stuff works extremely well, but it's got some serious side effects.

Buy something with Salicylic acid, it also reduce pore size.

All depends on you. For mild acne, you can pick up something at the pharmacy without a prescription. For moderate to severe acne, I would suggest going to see a doctor and having them prescribe you something.
