i'm looking at getting one of these pello chairs as they look almost exactly like the popular poang chairs but for close to 1/3 the price. besides not having a removable cover, is there much difference?

I remember trying on both at Ikea couple of years ago. They look similiar but PELLO sits not nearly as comfortable as POANG. And it curves lower, meaning your butt, and body sinks pretty low into the chair. It feels a more flimsy as well. We ended up getting on from Home Depot actually back when they had a similiar product to the POANG at about $89 including paddings.

we bought two poangs recently, went for the dark wood look, and upgraded the sitting pad as well to a more darker colour. I think they make for nice xtra sits in the living room.

Also bought the foot stool as well.
