Issue: I was being over charged on Long Distance...

I called up a Customer service guy... long things short..

The guy was being very very rude, ignored the fact that they have over charged me...he said he will look into it, but it took him 20 minutes and I was being put on hold for the time being...

It was not the first time I have called about over charging on my bill, and I never got a fair response..

back to the guy,
he said my University offer is only valid if the other Rogers customer have the University offer as well... so I told him, the last few times I called up rogers, and when I signed the contract, I have never been told about this... and all the guy said was I am not responsible..

keep this in mind, it is after an hour of conversation with this son of a b!tch before he told me that...

so i asked him to transfer me to the customer relations department and he refuses to do so, he asked me why, I said I needed to complain about Roger's customer service, the lack of clarity, and also why I wasn't acknowledged about that when I signing the contract.. and he kept on refusing to transfer me...

I got really pissed.. :evil: so i said, 'does that mean I have to hang up on you to connect myself to customer relations?' he avoided the answer and told me customer relations would not change my bill...

so i hung up..called up customer relations

the lady was very helpful...
he immediately looked into my bill, told me there was over 30 dollars of over charge... told me the university plan covers Rogers to Rogers calling, doens't require the other party to have the University plan...she also offered me a month worth of credit for the compensation...

SCREW THAT ROGERS CSR
he even threatened me that my mom the account holder is not a university student and I am not eligible for the University plan... I said, does that matter, I am the primary user and it's just a matter of changing names...

can you call back and ask to speak to cr manager. they log the calls and should know who took your call then complain he was a rude ahole. oh then write a letter to Rogers.

i agree with the op...
rogers and bell have horrible sales people. ok i cant say all of them are horrible but majority of them are. why is this? once they got you signed up for a contract its like your stuck with them for life. i dont know how many times ive hung up on CSR because of them being rude!



Sometimes people just need to rant to others... its sad when you get posts from others asking that they have to rant in "Off Topic" it is an Off Topic Forum, so it shouldnt be shunned. Read the title. Dont like it. Dont read it. Simple.

i first got 72 bucks of credit back

i called back again a few minutes ago to complain about tht CSR...

i got another 35 bucks of credit

i tried getting the campus to campus calling today...apparently its not offered anymore unless you have been using it before

tell them u are a university student and you would like to add that option, from what i know, they are still able to do that

i signed up for the unlim incoming and rogers to rogers thing near the end of october over the phone and come november i checked my acct and realized the csr didnt put the rogers to rogers on and it was too late to put it on! i got screwed there...

update

now i am even able to change my stupid plan to
20 bucks
free caller ID
unlim evenings/weekends starting @ 8
200 daytime min

All the OP had to do was to accept his moronic answer and call again. Same goes for Bell, just talk to another CSR.

i find regular csr at rogers are useless at times

its the cr staff that are better since they are trained to retain customers

i had the same longdistance issu, got it refunded for 2 months and the 3rd month the manager said that we cant do it no mor eand put a a note on my account. But CSR are useless. They are unclear when you sign up and explain after ..damn ediots.

everycompany has idiot csrs... some of them are third party too and not employed by telus/bell or rogers. you should direct your complaints to the appropriate department which it looks like youi already did, thats the best thing someone can do to when they have a dispute... i do this all the time with bellus..
