Issue: I was being over charged on Long Distance...
I called up a Customer service guy... long things short..
The guy was being very very rude, ignored the fact that they have over charged me...he said he will look into it, but it took him 20 minutes and I was being put on hold for the time being...
It was not the first time I have called about over charging on my bill, and I never got a fair response..
back to the guy,
he said my University offer is only valid if the other Rogers customer have the University offer as well... so I told him, the last few times I called up rogers, and when I signed the contract, I have never been told about this... and all the guy said was I am not responsible..
keep this in mind, it is after an hour of conversation with this son of a b!tch before he told me that...
so i asked him to transfer me to the customer relations department and he refuses to do so, he asked me why, I said I needed to complain about Roger's customer service, the lack of clarity, and also why I wasn't acknowledged about that when I signing the contract.. and he kept on refusing to transfer me...
I got really pissed.. :evil: so i said, 'does that mean I have to hang up on you to connect myself to customer relations?' he avoided the answer and told me customer relations would not change my bill...
so i hung up..called up customer relations
the lady was very helpful...
he immediately looked into my bill, told me there was over 30 dollars of over charge... told me the university plan covers Rogers to Rogers calling, doens't require the other party to have the University plan...she also offered me a month worth of credit for the compensation...

he even threatened me that my mom the account holder is not a university student and I am not eligible for the University plan... I said, does that matter, I am the primary user and it's just a matter of changing names...
