I'm guessing InexQ. Search the Hot Deals and Boxingday 2004 forums for more info. It's come up quite often. General concensus is that it's pretty good.

Oh here it is. (http://www.staples.ca/ENG/Catalog/cat_sku.asp?webid=593852&CatIds=%2C&AffixedCode=WW&=) Yep, same SKU - same item. and yes, it's the same price already. It was brought in for Bday last year at $30, went up to $40 after a few weeks, went on clearance for 40 for a few months, and has been clearance at 30 ever since. It will be hard to find in stores until they get the boxing day shipments in. Don't wait in line for it, but pick it up when you get a chance. I'm guessing it will follow the same pattern - staples is relatively predictable in that respect.

if that's the one i think it is - and i'm pretty sure, that one came in snapped in half or broken in some way, wayyy more often than any other. Furniture guy told me that people always put too much stress/weight on it, but I still think it's a POS...avoid it.

what do you think of the Toshiba laptop M70-SR3 (http://www.staples.ca/ENG/Catalog/cat_sku.asp?webid=621413&AffixedCode=WW) It seems like a good laptop for $1100. It seems like the best laptop deal so far from any of the FS BB or Staples flyers.

Any comments or other suggestions.

interesting note on the samsung 2010 printer. checked it online just now, and price was $119.92. Applied coupon code for $80, and got price of $39.92. heh. there's also the easy rebate for $30 as well. Does this mean the printer is actually $10+tax? :cheesygri

just placed the order, so we'll see how it goes.

they probably haven't updated the price online yet. Looks like the $80 and $30 coupons were supposed to be for the regular $199 price.

best of all, since the free shipping is for items over $50 *before* coupons, it was actually eligible for free shipping. *sigh*

one can only hope... (hah)

They messsed up, its suppose to be 119 after the 80 dollar rebate and 89 after the additional 30 dollar rebate.

Instead they already deducted the 80 dollar rebate and then let u use it again. :lol:

Dunno if this qualifies at a hot deal, but the Daytek 19" LCD w/DVI seems not too bad. Factor in a $20 off $200 and add a $11.00 item to use the $20 off $150 coupon, then you have it for roughly $311.

He didn't mean it that way.

What he meant was that, he had the ability to add a ridiculous amount of them to his cart, meaning the stock is infinite, which is impossible, and therefore is an example of "phantom stock".

The Samsung 2010 printer seems to be available, still! Just have to keep trying!! I managed to add one, then told me OOS when checked out. I tried five more times, and managed to get another one and checked out!!!

Does anyone know if Staples is having the extended return/exchange period? I know that in Futureshop, you can return/exchane till 1.10.2006. Is that similar for Staples or Staples is still keeping its 30 day return/exchange policy.

I also received an OOS e-mail from Staples this afternoon, after returning from my boxing day shopping (and after their local stores closed)! Very disappointing, because I walked by Staples at 8:45am this morning... but didn't wait around for it to open because I was confident of my online purchase.

I went over there today. They had USB Wireless Adapters 4 in stock. I bought one, installed it, works great.
