Service is bad. You have to pull teeth to get them to take anything back or admit something is defective.

Think he means at the check out lines. They always have long lines at the checkout. The cashiers like long lines - they are so slow. Worst cashiers ever.

I just called to clarify what products are going on sale as of the 24th (top of flyer that I was emailed says "visit our stores on Dec. 24th for advance boxing week prices on select products") and was told that everything that isn't a door crasher or currently has a mail-in-rebate will be sold at boxing week prices as of Saturday. And in fact some things have already been marked down as of today.

keep in mind! all advertised good deals will be sold out early! i hit a factory direct at 11am last year after making my rounds at fs and bb and everything good was sold out. there was a line up to get in, there was a line up to checkout and there was a line up to get out!

I know someone who works in the Woodbridge store and he says that they're bursting at the seams with inventory. Apparently $5,000,000 blowout is not an exaggeration. example - the $9.99 door crasher body glove bluetooth headset, they have thousands of them. He also said the lines should move much faster this year because they've added more cashiers and are using a better checkout system.

benq dw1610 not good... no DL capability and can't compare w/ 1620/1640...
1625 just has the lightscribe(LS) tech... nothing "superior" IMO... i'm more concerned about the overall quality as opposed to how good the disc "looks" on the outside :p
get the 1620/1640... or if u can wait, the 1650/1655.

benq sucks?
maybe if ur talkin about the DQ60 which FS is selling as a doorcrasher, but that's not true for the benq DW series... v. well-reviewed drives....

Has anyone ever used one of these 3.5" hard drive enclosures with built-in DIVX media player ?

I'm considering buying one but not sure about codec compatibility and playback quality. Has anyone seen this elsewhere ?

Anyone want to meet at the Mississauga location to group buy, so we can purchase them for $16.66 rather than $20 and save.. $3.33?!
Hey, we're RFDers  Besides $3.33 with tax becomes $3.83 and if you're interested in two, you save twice that.

Any buy the wireless reciever? I bought an Advent one from FD about 2 years ago. It works ok when tuned properly, but when adjusting the volume, theres a tonne of static.
Was wondering if this one was any better.
