I have a Nextel i870 available for sale (preferably in the GTA) but will ship if needed. Phone has no scratches, total usage is under 14hours talk and under 30min DC/walkie-talkie. I have flashed it with the newly released firmware and uploaded a few good apps and games (original "my location" GPS software, calculator app, and 4 high quality games).
I have modified the codeplug to enable multimedia messaging on Telus as well as make the browser work. Also I have enabled American dialing, ensured no common nextel robotic or underwater sounding voices are present, I can change the start-up shutdown images to whatever you'd like, enable TekniWAP (free internet browser), fill the phone with wallpaper and ringers ("unlocked" so that you can transfer them to other handsets via bluetooth or MMS), add more games of your choice, etc etc Just ask and I'll let you know if I can do it. Mototalk/TalkAround (free off-network walkie-talkie) is enabled by default on this Nextel version. This phone will perform falwlessly on the Mike network, I've been using an i875 for over a month now myself.

Phone comes with everything inlcuded with the original Nextel packaging (beltclip, charger, 32meg TF w/adapter, OEM media editing software, manuals, etc plus a bonus non-oem car charger). The phone you get from Telus for $499+tax doesn't include 32mb TF card, SD reader/adapter or the media editor. For local buyers I'm looking to get $390 UNLOCKED.
Despite the actual lock, I'll have all the rest of the software setup for you (unlocking service very rarely covers fixing messaging or browser settings for Mike phones).

I may accept trades. I could use an i560/760/850 phone for a backup... but I don't really NEED it, so I can't really offer top dollar for it. Either way, you can PM me to work something out.

Phone is now UNLOCKED for all carriers but fully setup for Telus. I can revert back to nextel specs but I'd rather sell in Canada. Looking to get $390cdn or best offer locally.

Buying one of these from Telus costs you $575 and you don't get the card reader, 32meg TF card, car charger, etc. This one is mint, unlocked for any carrier, setup so that everything works flawlessly on the telus network (picture/video messaging, internet (and tekniWAP ;)). Also not everybody cares for the burgundy accent on the telus version (I know I don't :p). I'll also include a DVD full of ringers/wallpapers/games/iden software.

Save yourself $185 off the no-contract price or spend only $45 more than the 36-month contract price and not be at Telus' mercy for 3years :D

Don't forget if you buy unlocked nextel/boost phones online, 9 out of 10 times you can only receive net alerts and nothing else on Telus Mike, not even the browser works. This one is fully setup for text messaging, multimedia messaging and browser... plus you get american dialing (the dashes in the 416-???-???? number instead of seeing it as 416???????), mototalk/talkaround (which is great if you have anybody else with a capable phone in the area), latest update for the phone software, and in case you don't have a datacable I will fill the phone's built-in 25meg memory with dozens of wallpapers/ringers/games of your choice.
