Project Manager, (Contaminant Hydrogeologist/Remediation Engineer)
Responsibilities & Attributes:
The successful candidate will demonstrate and bring forth good business & industry knowledge in the areas of client development, management, marketing and servicing. The overall responsibilities include:
Project Management related to environmental assessments, audits, site investigations, and remediation programs;
Coordination of activities with respect to consulting projects, contract preparation and financial management;
Maintaining and enhancing quality control within the group and participating in all quality control initiatives;
Managing, training and mentoring employees within the Group;
Assisting the Vice President with marketing/client development initiatives in collaboration with the Marketing Department as required.
Qualifications: A Professional Engineering or Geoscientist designation/certification would be an asset. At least 5-10 years experience conducting/managing Environmental Site Assessments, remedial programs and other related projects is required. Travel within the province will be required therefore a valid driver’s license, insurance and a vehicle is mandatory.

Junior Environmental Technologist/Scientist,
The successful candidate will assist with environmental site assessment projects and building condition assessments. Responsibilities will include:
Conducting field work (drilling, sampling, monitoring);
Building condition assessments;
Phase I ESA’s;
Supervision of contractors;
Report preparation;
General remediation activities.
Excellent written and verbal skills along with the ability to problem solve are definite assets.
The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in Environmental or Civil Engineering, Geology or Environmental Studies with some practical experience. Experience in AutoCAD and knowledge of environmental legislation/guidelines would be an asset. Travel within the province will be required therefore a valid driver’s license, insurance and a vehicle is required.

Junior Project Assistant,
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the day to day activities within the Environmental Management Group in collaboration with the Project Assistant. Specific responsibilities include:
Preparing, reviewing, proof-reading, editing and issuing of letters and reports;
Communicating with clients and employees;
Coordinating timely completion and delivery of reports and letters;
General group assistance as required.
A valid driver’s license, insurance and a vehicle would be an asset for this position. Occasional overtime may be required from time to time. Advanced/Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint) is required.

Administrative Assistant for Laboratory
The successful candidate will provide general knowledge and support to both clients and laboratory staff. He/she will coordinate with the Laboratory Manager to continually develop and maintain the functioning of the Laboratory. Specific responsibilities will include ensuring all daily requirements are handled on a timely basis; arranging meetings as necessary; setting up, organizing and maintaining functional filing system and word processing of correspondence including formatting & editing, faxes and letters.

Business Processes (One Year Contract)
The Business Process department is recruiting an individual to assist Diane Cunningham with the project Entry/ filing functions. The main responsibilities are as follows:
Project entry into CMS;
Preparation of monthly reports;
Preparation and completion of proposal / project sheets;
Proposal and project number allocation and sheet updates (maintaining the log book);
Hard file set up for proposals and projects (labelling, organizing and filing new project files).
Candidates must have strong data-entry skills, attention to detail and accuracy. At least two years experience in administrative capabilities and data entry functions is required.
