Not balls, just training.
Low flying is used to evade radar and SAM's.
Cool video though.

It's not hard, you'd possibly be surprised at the standards required of pilots then, because even at altitude (thousands of feet in the air) you can't just wander up and down all you want, they must keep tight tolerances on altitude and heading.
Especially so for military pilots.
It's not that hard to stay 50-100ft off the ground, how about try flying within 3 feet of several other aircraft? aka formation flying. NOW THAT'S BALLS.
I say it's balls and not just training in that you are relying on the other pilots, when flying over the ground, the ground does not move, so you are relying on yourself only.
Trusting others = Balls

Damn.... those people he flies past toward the end of the clip must have shat themselves when they heard, (felt), the jet fly by. At that range, you'd feel a massive concussion wall hit you. That and it would be deafening.
