Good if you have a sonication bath to clean it. I wouldn't use this though, filters are not something you want to take a risk on and I'll probably end up forgetting to clean it.

The average cost of an oil filter is 6-10 bucks and should last atleast 8000km

240/10 = 24 regualr filters to pay back on your investment. Avg oil change is 8k km, you would have to hit 192,000km worth of oil changes to make up for the costs, not tomention the inconvenice of cleaning it and the added worry of how much protection this is really providing after a certain amount of use's. Also i bet using something like this would void your warrenty for sure.

I don't think I would want to spend $200+ on an oil filter considering paper ones are so cheap and don't have to worry about cleaning. Probably get more interest if it was less than $75.

About the only good thing with a reusable filter is the fact that u won't be polluting the environment with used oil fitlers.

Might be a good thing for those that really care about the environment, otherwise not so good at that price.
