Does anyone know of a readymade image/distro that I can install onto a 256MB USB stick to boot off of? Preferably with Gnome or KDE as opposed to a fully commandline solution :)

I have been looking at the same thing as I wanted to breath new life into my old laptop of which the battery is losing its capacity.
It would be wonderful if I can run the OS and some simple task using flash memory as they don't consume much electricity...but then I've to go get a USB flash first...
There is a website: http://www.goosee.com/puppy/
If it works...please post result here and I'll go get a USB flash RAM!
