ya thats what it is.. although you can go for as much as 20 min with a higher concentration.. you basicly fly off to another universe.. and if you do it right, you will not be affected by outside stimulance (ie. your friends talking to you)

Salvia is legal.. I've tried it and I don't recommend it.

It's nowhere even close to alcohol or marijuana, it seriously takes you somewhere else, albeit only for about 5-10mins. People who have done acid, say it's very close to the same kind of high.. it's harsh mental stuff.

I actually think it should be illegal, it could really mess you up mentally...

For me I don't see it as with like alcohol or marijuana.. where you're here just a little out of self. This stuff is either ON or OFF.. you're either GONE or NOT.

So I won't recommend you do this stuff because it's really bizarre and could break your mind.. but I realize people will do what they want anyway. So I would say go with the 20x (should be like $40/gram if I recall...), use a pipe or bong.. just so you can do a quick hit off it.

Then make sure you hand the pipe/bong over to someone else, because you're going on a trip.

Again, I still say don't do it.. it's not anywhere like booze/bud.

At least that was my reason... I believe it's almost criminalized in the US and if Canada could ever get a government to do something, they would likely criminalize it as well.

I didn't enjoy the stuff and I don't think I would ever do it again.

Strange thing about this stuff really....it falls into the legal zone but, IMO it's far worse than smoking a joint!!

This stuff leaves you in a CONFUSED state of mind for anywhere between 10-20 minutes. Confused is only one term to describe what it feels like, and yes, it is scary. I ended up sitting down against the wall and not able to stand up again, I couldn't understand what was being said to me. Unlike what some people have said, I did not halucinate images (as some have told me they have) but, I fixated on something that I wouldn't stop uttering. The person at the shop told us that it only hits you one time and if you attempt doing it repeatedly, the effect would not be the same. I understand that point of view - having done it myself - however, because of the uncertainty that one experiences on this, I see there being a market for it (as long as it's legal) regardless if the effect is not the same. I personally don't care to experience it again, once was more than enough and it wasn't as enjoyable a trip as I thought it would be.....that's my 2 cents.

This stuff is nothing like alcohol/marijuana.. it seriously messes with your head in insane ways. I didn't want to try it again because I felt it could actually alter my thinking, my perception and actually change my life.

i dont think it will have any permanent effect.. there are no reports of this happening, alothough this stuff isnt very well documented... im excited to see where i will be taken :D our plan is, everyone tries it one by one (so that the sober people can be sitters).. and we have a bed/couch to lie down on after the hit and just close our eyes and enjoy the ride..

as someone who has smoked their fair share, I can say without prejudice that there are definitely negative aspects of weed. I've seen people waste their lives living in their parent's basements because they'd rather smoke weed all day every day than do anything productive and figure out what the hell to do with themselves.

When used recreationally and occasionally, I have no problems with it. Just like alcohol, everything in moderation is fine.

hm..... i'm guessing its $40/gram on 20x but how about just smoking the stuff alone isn't it enough? or is the extract neccesary? cause i was going to buy a plant of this stuff.

This is what the 20x extract looked like that I purchased:

I believe it's dried leaves ground up that are concentrated with 20x extract. You only need the tiniest amount of it, it's sort of like cigarette tobacco, but a little different. Anyway you take the little bit and put it in your bong or pipe and do a single hit off it. If you get the 1gram of 20x, you can divide that up into say, ~20 hits.

Do the single hit and put the bong/pipe down right away.. because you're about to blast off.

But I still don't recommend the stuff, it worked for me, but I didn't enjoy it. I find it too dangerous and it's not intoxicating, it's just a mind destroying 5-10min trip.

He also didn't know his name or address or anything about himself!!!

So, the newpaper had a phone of this guy in his 50's w greyish hair and a phone # to call if you knew who he was.

So, like what if you forgot who you were totally or had mental problems after??

Also, what does this do to your health? like your liver, kidneys or brain??

I just don't like when people think of it being like pot or alcohol... it's nothing of the sort.

It hits you hard, your brain goes somewhere else for 5-10mins and then it's basically worn off and you're "normal" in about another 10-15mins later.

I don't know if smoking the stuff is bad for you, it probably isn't, even though it tastes terrible. I just say it's bad because at least I think it has the potential to change your life.. in that you see everything differently. I guess that can definitely work out for the good, but it was strong enough to worry about the potential bad way it can change your life.

Again, people who have done acid say salvia is more like that than anything.. I don't know, I've never done acid. I try to discourage using it so that only those who are highly motivated and daring enough to try it, will.

Having said that - I have never done salvia, but know people who have. It's a trip... then they come back down. Nobody has gone "nuts" or had long lasting effects from it. Some have had personal revelations (which actually are usually good things) such as - I don't need to do that again, it's too rough a ride... or... their mind opened up to something and they had some doors opened and revelations as a result of the experience that were positive. Overall, it seems more people are less likely to do it again because of the impact and severity of the trip they get... it "scares" them. If something wigs you out... it's not enjoyable. If you are comfortable with the experience, you might take something from it - or not. Clearly it isn't weed... it's harder hitting.
