Hi, I want to order something from the USA that costs $0.22 (1 poker chip), and the shipping is $7.25 via UPS Ground. What I am wondering is if I do order it, am i gonna expect a big bill for brokerage fees even if the value is only $0.22 for the 1 poker chip? Or is there a set amount of money that if the value is under it there will be no brokerage fees?
Thanks
Rehan

There's $0 fee for items under $20 value.

make sure the declared value is $0.22, some sellers will declare a higher price for their items so if the item gets lost, it will be covered by insurance.
are you sure its 7.25 from the US delivered to canada? cause ups rates are usually higher than that.

UPS will absolutely kill you on customs if you get charged. They have a flat brokerage fee of around $25, on top of duties.
I felt this about 4 years ago when I bought a $300 camera and got $100 in duties.
