A great date is when she sticks her arm out and she smiles like crazy and you go in to hug her before you go home alone.

Head to the park for a walk, do sporting activities with your partner such as biking, head out for coffee (I wonder if that is cliche). Thats what I would recommend and its good weather outside too.

Coffee, that way if you guys don't like each other then you can just leave after without spending a fortune.

I'm a female. My first date was pretty memorable. We went to the movies. What made it memorable was the fact that he arrived about one hour late... don't ask me why I waited that long for him... :D

*Note: Make sure you arrive ON TIME for your date.

**Note: I'm now married to him :cheesygri

Yup, unless you already know each other, than this is the way to go. If the date is going well, then you can extend it or do something else.

Just never a movie. Gott a be the most uncomfortable thign for a first date.

i took one girl to play pool at a small place (non-dive) and it turned out to be one of the best first dates. It wasn't too loud, you can leave whenever you want and it is always good for a laugh.

I went snowboarding with this guy I didn't know!
I didn't meet him until he showed up to pick me up!

don't think it was really a "date", but it was a fun day! :D

ok, maybe that's not too smart.... :?:

I think your first date, well for me, shouldn't be "expensive" anyway.

Average price dinner, not some ritzy restaurant. Somewhere casual. Really fancy stuff on the first date to me, would scare me off.

Something with a little thought always makes a nice date. Maybe, this is my favourite restaurant when i was a kid or I heard you like...so i took you here.
