Right by the mall. There is a stop at Kennedy and another at Redlea. They both are across the street from the mall. Its the 53 Steeles East bus you are taking just to emphasize :D

No it's west, hehe j/k :cheesygri
You can't miss it... don't even worry about pulling the stop either. Guaranteed someone else will be getting off at that stop. Just look out for all the asian people

Hey, didn't you get the memo? Public transit users/pedestrians are not welcome north of Steeles.

Only because the drivers at PMall would sooner run you over than let you cross the road.

If you're coming from farther away. Milliken GO Station is right by there (or was it Centenital?)
Anyways, SOME GO station is by there... :)

Its Milliken Go station and it wouldn't be useful anyways as Go Train only operate during rush hours on that line passing the station and the only time it goes north is during PM Rush. For the other times, you need to take GO bus and it bypasses the station altogether.
From Dundas West station, it should take you about 1.5 hours to get there.
More like an hour, I tried it before starting at Dufferin Station.
30 minutes to Finch from Dufferin. 29 minutes on 53 bus. You need to time your connections so you would get there at the least amount of time.

They give the RCMP officers discounts or something...
Funny story, we saw a RCMP officer in full uniform go into Applegreen's, which is the place that does the Playstation modding and illegal copied games. Our first thought was, "Oh man, Ed is going to gt busted."
Instead, the cop was like, "Oh man, my son is going to love this."
Lesson: Be nice to the cops, and you will not get raided.

Cops are ppl too......they have families and they got to pay bills... as long as its not that illegal... and they can save some money... they'll take that offer.
But I just don't like traffic cops... hate them hate them
if you are a traffic cop reading my thread, I HATE YOU...GO DIE

kennedy has far worse traffic than steeles, its part of that sheppard (don mills ->bellamy), kennedy (steeles -> lawrence) perpetual gridlock
best way is probably finch station and then the 53

Since this is the first thread that comes up when searching "Pacific Mall" I wonder if anyone here knows if there are still places that do playstation 2 mods in the mall? And the names of the places/which ones are shady etc. (Any premodded systems there?)
Thanks

"And if you go to another store to save $0.50, you save $1.00. Then you can take the $1.00, go to the dollar store, and buy something nice...Be a Man!"
[Man..I butchered that joke..I cant remember the exact wording but it's from Russell Peters]

Honestly, I dont' know what's going on when I get there [from ottawa]. So when you refer to "Market Village" I'm confused already. - I saw someone mention Applegreen already (mentioning something about a cop..did the cop buy a premodded ps2?) but looking at the Pacific Mall directory, there is no mention of said store.

Applegreen? that place does make quality game, but the owner of that place can be a total loser sometimes. He's so into playing his games, he doesn't even take care of his customers

Market Village is the mall east of Pacific Mall. They are on the same property. You might notice it is not as tall as Pacific Mall and it looks more spread out and wide. Also it has a supermarket out front so that should be an indication. Applegreen is located across from Bank of Montreal inside Market Village.

Awesome thanks.
I"m assuming that's not the only place? Can someone recommend somewhere else in pacific mall or is that the best place?
Essentially I'm looking for a pre modded ps2 [hopefully a slim one]. And since a deal here at RFD fell through, I'm probably going to get a new one.
What's cheaper? New PS2 slim [Futureshop 130$ come April 21...it's in a thread somewhere on RFD] + modchip/install or a premodded one..from wherever i can find one?

Stoufville Line train, its either Stoufville or Mount Joy GO Station bound
TO EMPHASIZE: YOU CAN ONLY TAKE GO TRAIN TO P MALL DURING AFTERNOON RUSH HOURS!!!
The Stoufville GO Trains go southbound direction ONLY during AM RUSH, and vice versa during PM Rush.

I called applegreen at pacific mall, and asked them if they sold pre modded playstation 2 systems or mod chips and this is how the conversation went:
I ask my question.
The gentleman on the other line replies "What?".
And I say: "you know, 'modified' playstation 2's, mod chips that go in them?".
He says: "No we dont' sell them anymore".
I say "Huh? A friend just referred me to your store and said that you did".
He says [as though I just passed the test]: "OHHHHhhh we are out of stock until wednesday, call back then!..Yes out of stock...wednesday"
I say "Ok........ know anywhere else I can get one?"
He says "No..... come to the mall and check around"
I say "Sure..bye"
Why i post this conversation? Well because I'm not a cop, plz don't be afraid of me. Thnx

If you go at the beginning or end of rush hour, you'll catch the 53E Express, which will save you some time.
