After wiping my hard drive clean and installing a fresh copy of WinXP Pro w/ SP2, I notice that scrolling is VERY slow... the active window seems to "tear up" when I scroll up and down and takes some time to refresh. Even after installing the appropriate nForce and ATi drivers for my setup, the problem remains. Any ideas? (My hardware shouldn't be an issue - it's an nForce3 250gb / Clawhammer 3700+ setup w/ 1GB RAM)

I'd say remove the ATI drivers and reinstall them.

Definately a driver issue. Make sure you download the latest drivers from the websites, don't use the ones off the CD, they're outdated.

Agreed - it sounds like the behaviour experienced before any drivers are installed. Are you sure the installation worked properly?

Hmm... after rebooting randomly a few times the problem disappeared... weird.
And since I have an AIW card, I need to install the drivers+software from CD first, or else I can't update the AIW-specific software if it doesn't detect the original CD software install :(
