Man Hip Hop was really good back in the days when the West Coast California artists came out with those really cool "P-funk g-funk" beats. I remember how when a hip hop artist said screw the currupt cops or politicians, they really meant it speaking from their hearts.

Tupac Shakur was just one among many from the West Coast who spoke volumes on what was troubling in the inner cities and such. It was just 2pac seemed to be more vocal and had that extra charisma there whenever he performed or made an album.

Of course there were those New York/East Coast rappers like Nas, Krs One, Public Enemy, Pharoah Monche who seemed from the heart too. And who remembers Bone Thugs?! Those guys didn't rap, they sang lol!

Nowadays though, I see all these so called rappers saying screw this and screw that just to sell records. They give death threats on record just to make another sale. idiots like 50 Cent and D-Block talking all that crap. Its like they have nothing else to say and just repeat themselves over and over from their debut album to their sophomore straight to their 3rd or 4th album!

Sad to admit but, I feel hiphop has gone either way to0 bubbly commercialized or way too "over ghetto-dramatic" for the sake of being.
