They'll install a

Compustar 1WAM for me plus ignition kill for $230 (excl taxes); lifetime warranty.

He also told me that he can yank it out and re-install into another car for about $100+ if I get another car.

Is this a good deal? Futureshop are trying to sell me a whole set of upgrades and Bestbuy will give me basic alarm for $199 installed (excl taxes).

Canadian Tire told me they don't install alarms.

Help please for this poor person here!

I for one know how both these shops install their stuff.

FS and BB install like ****.

Audio Heaven, Selective Sound, and Lockdown Enterprises installs are above and beyond what FS and BB does. And its soo damn clean and hidden away.

I've seen FS installs and they are measely and just that, basic, no wonder its free.

You get what you pay for.

Edit: I had my alarm installed at Selective Sound and the install is WOW. So clean and stuff. Seen Audio Heavens work too. These 3 shops are all wonderful.

I had my Compustar 2W900FMR installed at Audio Heaven. Great install. Very clean, barely see any cables... going back there to get my car tinted

Jeff at Audio Heaven is A++++ guy. When I didn't know about him I had my Compustar 2way installed at SLS, and the fakers there did such sloppy job.

My passenger door wouldnt unlock, my siren after a few months blew, the brain of the compustar fell on the floor while I was driving (I could have sued).

Jeff fixed all that up, installed a trunk popper and did my cars tinting with life time warranty. Him, his new shop and his installers are all great guys! and honest!.

Ditto for me too. Except for the tint part.

Check his invoice, if it says lifetime warranty take it back, they will tear it down and put new ones back on.

I've had mine on for a year, and no purpling...took 20% all around.
