I'm fuzzy here...the site still lists them at 279$ but you got one at 209$. For all we know it could be store-specific. Perhaps if you post your receipt we could PM the Richmond FS;)

Picked up mine yesterday from Broadway Location with no problems, After playing with the unit last night I may return the unit as the screen is a little smallish for my 2 kids to watch at the same time, let me know if anyone is intrested in the unit locally, you can take it for what I paid for, I will only hold on to it for today only.

Unit cost 209 Plus taxes, you can even have the receipt

This is great device! The screen is a bit small at 2.2", compared to the video iPod for example at 2.5". But it's quite adequate for one person to watch a movie while travelling.

It has a USB host port in addition to the regular USB 2.0 port, which adds some interesting capabilities:
- Works as a "digital wallet", i.e., you can download photos directly from modern digital cameras which appear as a removable drive to WinXP
- Can attach a memory card reader to read cards from other cameras and devices (my compact $10 every-type-of-card reader works great)
- Can attach a portable USB hard disk drive and read it directly (FAT32 only, not NTFS)
- Can power USB-powered devices like portable speakers

It has a video-out port to hook up to a TV, and the output is higher resolution on the TV screen than on the built-in screen. You can download and store a bunch of MPEG-4 movies onto the 20 Gbyte HD and play them directly from the Gmini. Also works great for photo slide shows.

It supports stereo recording at CD quality, line-in or stereo microphone. Users report getting great recordings of live music, although we haven't tried that yet.

BTW some other buyers report that FS sold it to them for $199.
