I love your synopsis. Marine notices child. Later returns to rape said child.
Wow.
I heard thi son CFRB today but they said it was a woman and that the perps also killed 3 other of her siblings. One of the accused has already spilled his guts in an attempt to cut a deal no less. They need to give these guys the death penalty. Any less would be a crime against humanity.

Sounds like you Canadian Limp Dinks are happy about this so that you can be critical from our comfortable armchairs.
There are over 200,000 soldiers in Iraq.
If this happened. .. and again I say IF it happened
then those guys acted on their own and this is not US policy.
Funny how I read about you guys defending your homegrown terrorists and syaing that nothing was provenin court,
Yet here you go and convict these guys on the basis of some articles.
You guys are disgusting!

We all know which troll this is.
Croatian Guy, you left your IP on my website when you posted your comment about wanting the guys in the shower. Would you like me to post it? Rogers IPs don't change very often, since it is cable after all.
Have wonderful night trolling, I find your trolls entertaining and worthy reading, especially when some poor hippy actually thinks you have a legitimate opinion :)

Just because it happens at every war doesn't make it anymore more right to do so.

That is the complete opposite view to take on this. One should never move on from an incident like this. If these people are found guilty they should be delt with in the harshes terms. Heck, they should be handed over to the Iraqi's to be put on trial(although that would never happen). If they are innocent than we will move on, but to suggest this is just a part of war is not nearly a good enough excuse. I will be you my left nut the U.S. military doesn't not teach it's members how to do this or incourage them to do so, therefore it should not be tolerated in any war fought by the U.S. I think we are better than that.

True, but it also happens outside of war. in 1995, 3 american soldiers abducted, beat, and raped a 12 year girl in okinawa. Those soldiers weren't "at war".

Let's not forget how our Canadian solidiers tortured and murdered a Somali teenager back in 1993....we weren't at war either.

Of course, it's wrong but in a war, there are no rules. I guess the only rule is not to throw nukes around unless apporved by the UN, other than that, everything goes. Yep, that's how wars work, no war has been an exception so far.

There are rules that the U.S. military has to follow. Also, if these guys were caught by any other force and handed over to the U.N. they would have also attempted to put them on trial(although the U.S. whould have a giant fit). There are general international laws that we are supposed to be following, and the U.S. is a leading World Power which preaches democracy and freedom so you'd think they would want to stick to those principles. Clearly what these soldiers are accused of is something very wrong, that is why there is an investigation and if there is evidence there will be a trial. You don't get put on trial if there is no law for what you did.

Green, a 21-year-old former Army private first class who was recently discharged because of a "personality disorder," appeared in a federal magistrate's courtroom in Charlotte Monday. The murder and rape charges against him grew out of a military investigation involving up to five soldiers in the March rape and killing of the woman in Mahmoudiya and three of her relatives, one of them a young girl believed to be about 5 years old.
