I'm thinking of buying a new mp3 player but I've bought and returned 3 so far..:

sony NW-E300 cant stand using sonic stage to do music transfers (just slow and a hassal, pointless imo) and it only supports english so my chinese and japanese id3 tags dont show

LG FM30 - was really good since i can use windows explorer to transfer my files, but its only 1 gig and the controls wernt that great and it froze while i was using it O_o;;

just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for mp3 players:

I'd prefer:

Aesthetically appealing would be an up point (I like the style of the sony players, and the LG ones except for the "design flaw" <- theyre ergonomically annoying imo.

at least 2 gigs of storage with playlisting ability (I'd prefer 6 gigs minimum since my phone has 2 gigs storage)

long battery life: the sony one is 28 hours off a charge and the LG was 30 hours, I have music on all the time, litterally, if i'm not in a place that would prohibit me having an mp3 player, i will have one on.

custom user defined EQ... cuz i want one

no required software to load music (so basically copy paste from windows explorer.) it doestn have to be UMS but at least save me the hastle of running all my music through some proprietary crap before being able to listen to it.

think thats about it. I'm going to the states at the end of the month so any US only lpayers are fine too (although i think the states is almost 99% ipods and i've tried the shuffle and nano and itunes just pisses me off..)

thanks
