Yep, same. I would have bought it if it was wireless. I can't use a wired mouse after using a wireless one for so many years.

160GB IoMega for $99 would be half decent
Anymore of those IoMega rebates on the net? It would certainly help bring the IoMega price down even more... maybe down to $60 or less? Hahaha

With the mouse, it shows as $19 originally but when I get to the final "submit payment" screen it shows as $38...
I don't think it is worth it for me... but, I would have bought one for $19
EDIT: WEIRD... I had done the order above with firefox. I just re-did it was Internet Explorer and it stayed at $19 to the end....I ordered one.

I ordered with Firefox and it was $19 all the way through. Sure you didn't accidentally try to order 2? :)

Looks like it was a pricing error and they fixed it. I got mine in time - don't know though if Dell cancels orders / reprices them.

Dell's actually pretty lenient about honouring their price errors (unlike *cough* Futureslop *cough* BestLie *cough*... ;) )
last time i ordered the 80gig Iomega ext. HDD for ~$60 (price error as well) and it went thru :D

WTF?
I ordered one of the mice, and all the way through it showed up as $19+tax.
When I checked my e-mail for the "Order Acknowledgement" it showed up at $38+tax... and a quantity of 2!
Stupid Dell.

btw, that 160gb external drive looks like its an old 2mb cache IDE drive
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=1261772&sku=I21-5496
PERSONALLY, id just go to CTY and get a nexstar 3 for $32 and a 160gb HDD for 65 and have a much nicer enclosoure wiht a longer warrenty on the faster hard drive for 97+tax ;)
http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?p=3567254#post3567254
Alternativly, get a bigger drive (250gb) for $90 or a 320 for 110 from CC or ncix.
or get the samsung enlcosure bundle 300gb for 106.
if you don't like the included enclosure, you can just sell it for 10 bucks and get a nexstar or something. so it'll end up costing you 116 for the samsung + nexstar after selling the included nGear enclosure.
but i guess this deal is alright since its prebuilt  oh, and lets not forget the backup software included
