I was wondering if we could discuss any possible ways to make some extra money on the Internet. I would like to use some of the time I waste on here productively. So let the ideas commence!

Yes, there are no "easy" ways to make money on the internet... but there sure are a lot of things you can do.

Ebay. Obviously. Sell some of your own stuff, reseller, etc.

And there are people who work from home over the net,

Lots of little things that certainly are not big $$ are mystery shopping and research panels.

There are ways to make money quite easily, I myself have found 1 decent way and 1 extremely awesome way. If people here can come up with some good proven ideas I would gladly share mine. I made $4500USD in one month and it was completely legal.

Holy crap man.... calm down. Have a sense of humour, there's nothing in the forum rules that precludes that.....

There are so many ways to make money on the web, the trick is to be innovative and *different*.

A. Sell ads
B. Sell web-based services.
C. Sell products via the web

These three things are pretty much what it boils down to..... if you can find a niche service or product and become estabilished and known, then you're off. The hard part is finding the niche, it depends on your realm of experience, connections, and abilities. For example, you could sell discount diapers on the web if you had a connection to a diaper manufacturer and could get a bulk discount, you might be able to make the business model profitable. Or you could create a large internet community based on deal seeking, and sell ads on your site when you have a dedicated user base.

I don't think the OP was looking for tips on how to start a business, he simply dicks around on the net a lot, and is looking for some ways of making easy money while he's surfing... and if that is the case, he's gonna come up empty. 99% of the schemes floating around are bs, and the other 1% just haven't folded up yet :P

Yes you are more correct in what I am looking for. The thing is that there are ways to make money on the net quite easily. Like I said earlier, I have found a couple and would like to share them if someone can return the favor.

1, I did have to lift a finger. It required time and was stressful, but overall it was totally worth it.

2, I did nothing illegal or any type of scam, nor did it have anything to do with ebay.

3, People make money all the time, I was hoping for some brainstorming of ideas.

4, I am not going to announce how I did it, if too many people know it would implode.

5, There is nothing wrong with my Ebay feedback. I am honest and don't take **** from anyone. If someone pisses me off they get bad feedback, thats how its supposed to work. I do admit to some slow shipping times but I got a job and sometimes its hard to ship really fast. People are idiots anyways, they complain when they dont have their item in 2 days.

I actually did almost lose my house, that was no scam. Went thru an unexpected divorce. I didnt really make anything off that, I was hoping to fluke out and get some media attention and maybe get some rich person to save me haha. I actually did get calls from some radio stations but I chose not to go thru with it. I did manage to keep my house too, just had to sell my soul to the devil.

Also, I am a decent person, I would never scam anyone. I know how that **** feels and I see the threads on buy sell page where some dude ripped off alot of people with fake xbox 360s. That sucks balls.

The HYIP investing is a ponzi scheme, but if you are smart you can make some fast cash. The way I made 4K I am not going to say, too many hands in the cookie jar and it will die. Trust me though, there are ways to make money on the net that are completely legit. You just gotta look hard enough

I actually had $200 in 12 Daily Pro. That one was supposidly financed by auto surfing, but court documents show now that 95% of the funds were ponzi. Charis, the site owner had $50 million of other peoples money invested in 12 Daily Pro. Thats friggin crazy. I hope I get some of my money back haha.

I am all about the quick rich schemes. Most never pan out, but if you dont try you have no chance of winning right? I do however have morals and do not do anything fradulent. I work a normal job like all of you, I'm just looking to make a little coin on the side you know?

There are legal ways to make money online, but the truth is that 99% of people will get tired after a month of trying. Some friends asked me how to do it, and when I tell them no one succeeds. There's no magic way, it's WORK. You actually have to WORK to get anywhere, and it takes up to 4-6 months of zero income to actually see results. Very few people are that persistent.

If you do have the patience, a good point to start as a newbie is to find out what Google Adsense is and how you can use it to your advantage while being careful and not cheating the system. Then start reading up the "Making Money" section of this forum: http://namepros.com

It will take patience and persistence, but if you're set on making money online, and are willing to spend 8+ hours a day working, you'll do it.

Get rich quick schemes never work until you fluke out and one does. Trust me, I didn't think that I did would work, but my friend that told me made $10 000 in 3 months. It seemed like a no brainer to try and lo and behold I made $4000 in 1 month. But whatever, I really could care less who believes me, I am the one looking at a $3985.00USD Neteller check right now haha. I think one of the best method is to think of a good idea, then build up a good website get it noticed, so someone will buy it out.

Eg:

Travelocity. 2 guys (I think) got this great idea of telling the airlines that for the ones you haven't sold a airplane seat yet, the planes STILL gotta fly. So we'll help you sell those seats at a discount.

They built up their website... darn i forgot the name, and after a few years, it go bigger and bigger.

So Travelocity bought them for a couple millions or more.
