Okay, if want a super cheap (price and quality) 15" LCD TV, here it is:

I was grocery shopping at the Dufferin/Steeles Real Canadian Superstore today and seen a 15" LCD for $199.98!!! The brand was Nova. It is not HDTV and did not have Component Video.

"Good ones" are usually double this price and more (Sharp, Sony, etc.).

I was wondering when RCSS would be lowering their prices on TV's. Otherwise I don't think they'd be moving them. Makes me wonder if the larger models will come down shortly also.

well, the reason that i was curious was b/c u posted the price of $199.99, whereas on the flyer it's advertised as $199.98 :P

and f/ the online ad, it was hard to identify the brand...

alright, i just went out and picked one up, im actualy quite pleased with the tv. tv turner is a little fussy, but the TV works as a computer monitor with a 1024 x 768 resolution with actually looks quite good. no fuzzyness while plugged into the computer.

The mount for the TV fold behind the tv, and can be used as a wall mount. mine is currently mounted above my laptop, as a 2nd tv. the speakers are little 2 watt speakers. But they have a headphone jack that u can plug in ur computer speakers.

The Remote Control, used one of those big watch batteries, which would be more costly to change. as soon as i plugged the tv in i switched over tot he harmony remote.

over all, i think the tv is definitly worth the $200, im debating picking up a second one.

It is better to get this LCD for $200 OR

A brand name LCD like Dell or BenQ and add a "LCD TV Box"?? Staples has it for only 71.97 http://www.staples.ca/ENG/Catalog/cat_sku.asp?CatIds=&webid=611932&affixedcode=WW
