It's generally ~$12.50/hour starting, and is capped around $15. But you'll make about at least the same in commissions.

I worked at Bell, and during my last month my base salary was $13.75 and I was averaging $16/hour in commission. A friend of mine who worked in one of the busiest bell world stores averaged $30/hour just in commissions. It's been a little more than a year since I left, but I doubt things have changed much since.

Hope this helps you out a bit. Note that employers can not legally hire someone under the age of 18 to work during school hours. Silly, right? Not really. My gf never got her high school diploma and now she is inbetween call centre jobs with no real prospects on the horizon. It pays to stick with it and git'r'done. Don't be a foo', stay in schoo'!

Minimum age to work in Ontario is 14 years old.
Mainly fast food chains as the job is not hard and there isn't much in the way of customer service.
For places like Bestbuy, Futureshop, and other retail stores would like the new hires to know about the products and how to speak with customers and handle complaints...for these types employees generally hire 18+ preferably and might go younger if that person is referred by a current employee.
