Clogs namely birkenstocks are being worn more and more in kitchens lately,i'm a chef so its not mommas kitchen i'm reffering to.
they are very unsafe but people seem to get away with it.
Even susur wears them.
Now these crocs are out and you see people in it just like when uggs came to north america, i've seen people wear them in summer which is quite bizzare.
If you are'nt going to the beach or pool keep th crocs for the back yard.

They look awful, but I bought a pair, and the comfort way outweighs the fact that they are ugly. They were like part of my job uniform all summer (way easier to wear on deck than a pair of flip flops).

crocs were actually designed for fishermen so that they wouldn't slip on the deck and so that water would be able to flow right through

Actually Waldies, which Crocs are actually based on, were designed by Walden Kayaks as a type of river shoe.
The Origin of Waldies (http://www.waldies.net/s.nl/it.I/id.5/.f?sc=11&category=-111)
Seems this guys screwed up a few years ago and Crocs were born of the same Canadian factory that originally made the Waldies.
Do some googling, there's money in those foam shoes.

National Sports. They also have them at Sports Check, Mountain Equipment, Athletes World. I had to look around for a couple of places, to find that particular colour in my size. I guess because it is the end of the season they aren't getting a lot in.

I do wear them and yes, they are extremely comfortable. My sister raved about them to me last year so I picked up a pair.
A lot of people who are on their feet all day, nurses, cooks, doctors in hospitals, wear them because of the comfort factor.

The crocs look just like Foodservice or Nursing shoes!
Seriously, they look like the shoes that staff in hospitals and nursing homes wear- exept these look prrly made and kind of flimsy.
The holes on them don't seem that practical- what if u get caught in the rain?
I think i would only get these if I was gardening....then again their are birki garden clogs, they are better and don't have holes in t hem so your feet don't get wet when you are out in the mud gardening.
You should only get the White crocs if you work in a medical clinic or dentists office. my friends mom wears white nursing shoes

The clog style of croc are not as comfortable as everyone says they are, imho. But the "scutes", which are a sport sandal style are the most comfortable footwear I have ever worn. I wear mine around the house and they've replaced my slippers...And they don't slide around on my hardwood floors.

these are the absolute ugliest shoes, slippers or sandals I've ever seen, it sickens me to see so many people are wearing these and the fact that there are imitations on these $35 shoes, it really doesn't matter of its a man, woman, boy or girl wearing these they're ugly nonetheless...

there for the beach you tard. also regular shoes dont stand up to rain very well ither most pairs tend to get stanky when wet unlike crocs. i hated them with every bit of my being until i had to put my shoes on and off every time i wanted to go swimming at my cottage. now i wear them all over, hell im in a gay town i dont care what people think about me cuz everyone in this towns appearance is much much worse then the crocs. most comfortable skate shoe ive found so far aswell. people who hate crocs are people whove never worn a pair for more then 5min.

I LOVE them! I have to wear orthotics all the time in my shoes, so it is Great to have open style shoes that I can wear (without my orthos) that don't make my feet hurt :). True, they are not the most flattering shoes to wear, but they are cushions for my feet :).

I have a pair of knock offs I use when I'm doing stuff around the yard. Good because they are easy to slip on/off when I need to go in and out often.
Other than that, I wouldn't go anywhere in public with them except for maybe a beach

I was reluctant to buy some but did for camping, etc.
Thats all i wore all last summer.
Easy to take off and on.
They stay on because of the strap.
Can wear in water and out
Easy to clean
Light weight
Mine are a darker brown,
One downfall is they arent made for climbing really. Tried climbing the Hoo Doos in Drumheller and kep sliding down because of lack of grip.
My wife bought a pair and my daughter.
I just find them very comfortable.
