KRAFT DINNER microwave snack packs are a scam!
I bought a box... and really its just individual packages of KD with microwave instructions!
I thoguth that maybe there was a lil microwavable bowl inside like for Instant noodles.
I found out that you could make "instant kd" by putting regular kraft dinner into a bowl with water then microwaving it for 5 minutes...
then you add in the cheese powder with milk then pop it into the microwave for another 2 minutes.
what a scam!

Lol,
that sucks.
The regular box used to have microwave instructions on it before-I think it still does not too sure.
Didn't they make the "microwave" packages smaller too?
How is the already made kraft dinner, seems kinds weird.....

both instant snack packs of KD and regular boxes of KD can be made the same way in the microwave.
the only difference is that the snack pack has individual packages

I bought the creamy KD once and it was exactly the same except in the instructions it said to add twice the amount of butter or something like that.
Nothing like paying double the normal price for that.

Hey, good for you for trying it out, I think you get alot less in the microwavable bowls too from what I remember. I ususally buy a case of the boxed stuff when it goes on sale for 6.99 and it lasts a while.

Honestly I really think Kraft Dinner (KD) is nasty, IMHO.

KD is great, but these snack packs wouldn't even fill up a child... They just make you hungrier

What I usually do is add 1 cup of water to half a box of KD (Because I can't finish the whole box) and microwave for 9 minutes, stirring every 3 minutes.
Anyway, my neighbour gave me 12 KD microwave bowls, he got them free at a football game or something. I have the say, they are really good! But really small. I just eat 3 of them and I'm more hungry than before I eat them lol.

What's wrong with bumping a thread with a topic still relevant?

its just like those ecomomy sized pringles and the smaller sized cans of coke, but they cost more for less !!! i mean who in their right mind would buy that?? yeah they market it as calorie wise products or snack packs. But its another marketing ploy to rip off consumers by offering less and costs more.
