The Zune just got announced. It's not even on the market yet, and there's already a Chinese-made ripoff?

No wi-fi, though, one of the key features of the zune.

Yes, but damn, it's almost three times cheaper than the real thing, and this reprsents the Zune much better than the iPod wannabes, wow, it might bring a big market into this Taiwanese company!

Since it's flash-based, it's more of a Meizu Miniplayer clone.

You know if these cheap Chinese factories really put all that effort into making a new non-clone, competing product, it would be even more useful!

if this is 3x cheaper, but in good quality
then I'm all for it
i dont care for wireless

from zune

Wireless Zune-to-Zune sharing. Zune lets you spontaneously share selected full-length sample tracks of your favorite songs, homemade recordings, playlists or pictures with friends wirelessly, device to device.1 You can listen to any song you receive up to three times in three days. And if you like a song you hear and want to buy it, you can flag it right on your device to easily find it later.

I can recieve music from some other guy, but can't own it? lasts three days and only plays 3 times?
no thanks, I dont need that

You do realize that in about a week someone would've found a way to hack all that DRM ********. For me me I am really interested in how the Zune will turn out.

Damn those guys are on the ball. I have the iPod Nano MP4 player knock off and I must say that I am not impressed with it. Probably this thing is just as bad.

the sad thing is that there WILL be people buying this thinking it's the Zune :|

Do you actually have a clue how much R&D costs? Big companies like Microsoft can afford to gamble on the ROI but these fly-by-night companies have little to no budget for such things.

The aesthetics are marginally better than "passable" and the interface I'm sure will get the Creative lawyers salivating.

So which exaclty is the clone of who?

"Well, I guess we can't exactly call it a clone, given that the Teclast T29 was announced well before the Microsoft Zune went official"
