Anyone catch this?

If you are purchasing today:
Present us with a copy of the competitor’s current ad.
Our associates will verify that the item is in stock and available for
immediate sale and delivery at the advertised price.
We will beat the competitor’s price by 10% of the difference.
If you purchase the item from futureshop.ca and there is no Future Shop in your area you can contact us at 1-800-663-2275 or by email at websupportcan@futureshop.com

If you made your purchase in the last 30 days*:
Present us with a copy of the competitor’s current ad and your original invoice.
Our associates will verify that the item is in stock and available for
immediate sale and delivery at the advertised price.
We will refund you the difference and give you an additional 10%
of that difference.

Example:
My family bought a printer tonight for $99.95 (Canon iP4200 - In the flyer) but now I see Staples is selling it for $99.36

It seems like they're going to give me the 59 cents difference plus 10% of THAT, unlike previous price matches I've had in the past that are a so-called "Beat the Price by 110%" ...

Clarification please? Is this correct?

its the same

10% of the difference = beat the price by 110%

do the math

99.95-99.36

59cent difference we give you back, then give you back 10% of the difference which is 5.9cent => 6cents

so yo uget it for 99.36-.06=99.30 is what you pay at fs

or

59cent difference, then we beat the difference in price by 110% which is 65cents

99.95-.65=99.30

The difference is a joke. I rather save the gas money and breath of air and just buy it at the competitor

Seems different from what I've read in the past on their policy ...
With CDs, I've had them take $14.99 for them, $12.99 somewhere else,
Match it 110%, they don't take THE DIFFERENCE and add 10%.
Difference there. Schmeh, DEFINITELY not worth it, they're just after the sale.

It is always like that since day one.
