Canadian Tire has its 4L Castrol GTX Motor Oil on sale right now, its been reduced to around 12bucks.

But, in addition to that great price, they currently have a special where you can get ANY motomast Air FIlter for FREE with purchase. It's not displayed, but the cashiers should have the coupons on them. This is an INSTANT coupon (no mail in)

WOrks out pretty well. The saving on the oil alone is great. Then, I saved more than 16 dollars on the air filter i purchased (that was more than half the bill!)

i think this special might end today...so get out there.

i've actually use this deal twice now.
it was in the flyer last week.

i've used it at 2 locations.
southdown road, mississauga
dundas and 403, mississauga

it MAY be only ontario.

i'll try to find last weeks flyer for a scan/and or more info.

I called a Winnipeg store & they have the deal. They said if the Motomaster Air Filter is not in stock then they can substitute a Fram Air Filter instead. Cashiers have the coupons.

With fall here - even if you don't use Castrol in your car - this is a good time for you to change the oil in your lawnmower/snowblower - and snag a free air filter for the car.

I just got back from CTC. The oil is now $16.00 - the coupons are good to Oct 18 - and it is one coupon per customer - but I had no problem in having them ring through 2 seperate transactions. The air filters I got for free were $18 and $21 - so this is quite the deal.... Thanks OP!

Your lucky, my air filter for my car was $26 for a motomaster. I even saw for myself on those dinky screens those guys use to search for products. Also the filter are pretty crappy, at least the one for my car. I held a factory filter from Honda and the one I got for free from CT and the material was totally different. Maybe some don't mind but I am damn picky and it just doesn't cut it.

I believe the sale is done. It was only for a week. It was in the national flyer. I could be wrong

I picked up a couple today...they were out of Motomasters so they even subsitituted Fram air filters for me.

To my knowledge if you drive a Castrol is used in all hondas from the factory. Unless they have changed it.

Also the sale on Castrol was $12.99 You missed it.

Yea this is the best deal i've ever seen at canadian tire. I got 4 different orders done for the castrol oil so i could get 4 free mercedes air filters, which they ordered for me. Since motormaster does not have a mercedes air filter, they are being replaced by the fram make. Not bad, since each filter is $55 dollars, and each jug of oil which makes it free is only 12.99....do the math...
