I requested a deal for a laser printer in the request a deal forum 2 days ago, I was going to go to a shop down on Spadina and College that ak-47 recommended, it turned out the shop opens at 12:00 noon, I got there around 11:00 am and it was still closed, I ended up just walking around from computer shop to computer shop checking out all the cheap stuff wasting time till 12:00 noon.

I ended up at the Factory Direct on college street. Asked the lady what was the cheapest printer they sold and she said the Samsung HL-1610 brand new for $79.99 the bonus that they don't know about is the samsung $30 MIR. A awesome printer for $79.99 -$30 for a grand total of $49.99, dammit why didn't someone post this earlier, would have saved me alot of time ;) (just joking)

Anyhow that bad news is IT ENDS TODAY, so go NOW and get it before its to late. Below is the printer I got and the link for the rebate, it seems to be an in store deal only so you have to go to the store and not order from the website.

PS. does anyone know if this printer prints watermarks so printing companies can track printouts to your printer?

Lots of people got this for under $100 at Staples last year.
I got 2.

Decent printer, a little noisy, but at least u can get toner from Fleabay.

Do the 2 that you bought have like a low frequency noise when its on standby? I think there may be something wrong.

This deal matched the Dell $49 laser printer deal I got in on (I never even opened the box, I didn't even need one -pure RFD fever!)

Before FD went and raised the price that is!

Anyone GTA who missed this deal can pm me and I'll slide it to them for the exact price I paid $56.35 incl. tax.

Is it the same as the 1610? if so does it make a low freq noise.
