Where is the best place to purchase a website; name / address only? I've checked out Whois.ca but not sure that's the best choice to work from.

For .ca netfirms.ca/ (http://www.netfirms.ca/) or namespro.ca (http://www.namespro.ca/) (like MkmBandit stated) :) I've used both.
