SVS has been making what's arguably the best and most extensive line of subwoofers for quite a few years now. But enthusiasts (who couldn't quite make the stretch to our famous Powered Cylinders, or the $600 PB12-NSD), had been clamoring for an "entry level" SVS. Something that would blow cheap subs into the weeds... without breaking the bank. We were listening. What perhaps you might not imagine is how challenging it was to create an entry level sub good enough to be called "SVS". Yet the original PB10-ISD took the world by storm, quickly establishing itself as the benchmark subwoofer below $500. Frankly, few $1,000 sold in the US could touch its performance.
