I have an Xbox360 HD-DVD Drive for sale - $170 OBO. It comes with everything, still in the box (King Kong HD DVD, Universal Remote) and works like new. Only used it once and realized I don't have enough money to buy HD DVD movies. It was an impulse buy.

Located in Mississauga, meet at Heartland near Futureshop or BestBuy, or Square One. LMK.

Kenny.. we had a deal pending and you sold it without even mentioning a word. We were meeting up on Monday and it was a go. Please explain...I sent you PM. Remember it's not a place were bidding takes place and if you say we have a deal you should follow through. You accepted the offer then backed out without a word or pm. Not good!

I'm sorry, but you offered me $145 of my $170 asking price. Someone else offered me $170. I know it's not a place of bidding, but it's OBO, and somebody else came closer to my asking price without going OVER. I'm really not sure about the rules of this, but I'm pretty sure I'm within them. If I broke any of the rules, somebody please tell me.

We can take this to pm. You accepted my offer and we were meeting up on Monday. If you accept and we firm up, which we did, you should follow through. If you said you would wait to see if you got another offer for more that's one thing but you said you would take my offer and we agreed on it. At the very least you should have pmed me before going ahead with another deal. You also mentioned in your pm that you got $160 for the drive not $170.

Yo moose. Yeah he obviously just took more money and said "Screw that other deal". And no your not within the rights man. You make a deal you go ahead with it. You got a bit of a better price from someone else and you took that deal even tho you were going to sell to moose here

Maybe no rules were broken, but if you make a deal with somebody and confirm it with them, it is not a good idea to go back on that deal the moment you get another offer. If you want to get more for item, tell them straight up that you will get back to them if you don't get a higher offer in an X amount of time or that their offer is too low, but don't make a deal, make a meeting time up, and then leave them on the hook.

It's not a matter of rules or dollars and cents, it's a matter of ethics and if you are man enough to abide by your own code of conduct.

Or at least tell him that he got another offer for $170 and give moose a chance to match that price. If moose does, sell it to moose first.
