Yet another family is stranded/lost in the roads of Oregon's mountains.... didn't they hear about the James Kim ordeal or what? Authorities are searching for them right now.

Stupid??
Depends on the circumstances... Some people just venture into the mountains in sneakers and a fleece. Thinking it is a walk in the park. The go exploring off trails, then they get lost. They have no emergency kit, clothing... totally unprepared. I think that is stupid.
It happens often in Vancouver. Tourists and international students go hiking in the mountians, they aren't prepared and they get lost.

Best game ever! Where else could you play such a violent video game in school?

Yes, stupid.
If I go somewhere far in isolated, desolate roads I will take a GPS, walkie-talkie, flares, phone, food for days, ect, ect.
If I go inside a forest or mountain I will take a compass, map, and will open my eyes to backtrack if I feel I'm getting lost, go back the same way I came in.
James Kim, and this other family that is missing near his death location are not bright.

Same here, I never go without being well prepared... also experience counts.
There is a major experience/knowledge difference between my GF who grew up in Beijing and I, who grew up in the sticks of Nova Scotia.
