the sattellites use RCA cables so they will need mods too... And unfortunately hooking the sub up to a reciever doesnt work so well with the seperate volume control is needed ... I tried with my old 2200's and got lots of noise through the sub even with no sound. But still a hot deal.

You should be able to have them PM but again, some have been successful at having BB/FS PM Dell while others have not, can't hurt to try. I would if I had the money and my local BB of FS had them in stock.

I think I need a better sound card though, my DFI onboard doesn't sound so hot.

I believe in your case it's BB's wrong. Consider you buy sth from BB and choose ship the item to your address. After you click the submit order button and then they process your oder and ship it out, can BB still asks you to pay them back the price error part? No, right? After they process the order (the order has been filled), it's binded contract between BB and you. It's the same after you received the email notifying "your order is filled" for your store pick order. It is a binded contract between BB.ca and you. It has nothing to do with that local store in terms of price, because that store is simply the warehouse for pick up and process your payment.

If such thing happens to me and the BB store manager really gives me hardtime to argue, I would simply file a complaint to BB.ca's CS. I did that in some similar case and the store manager had to call me to return the portion he was first not willing to give me.

No, a contract occurs when there is a meeting of the minds. This was a price error; BB.ca did not intend to sell it to you at this price, hence no contract.

They go ahead and sell it to you anyway because:
A) They're unaware of the error
or
B) They want to keep you as a customer, which is worth more than the loss on the sale.

That said, I'm looking forward to the next BB "Days of pricing errors."

Hooked the sattelite in series, my receiver state 16 ohm load is "OK" so I went ahead, sound just OK as the center...
I got rid of the stand and used gummets to place them sideway, laying on the TV :lol:

But the subwoofer on the hand add a lot of fun since it's handling the LFE channel :D

Dollar store RCA extension cords will do fine. If you're picky grab better ones like Monster Cable. I'm really happy with mine and considering purchasing the extended warranty for $14 'cause I KNOW I'm gonna do something stupid.

Then he referred me to some Altec Lansings they had set up for 99.99. They sounded good, but I love most things logitech and had read this thread before going to FS.

Have you guys had any problems with these speakers? Or did this FS guy just see a bad batch?

Picked up the speakers today in store for 99.99 they said cause it was in store on web locator, and not online I couldn't use DD (digital dollars) and go for ISPU and plus the price went up... in the end I didn't feel like arguing with them so I paid 99.99 + tax and went along my merry way.

Please note the websites price - 149.99 (http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?sku_id=0926INGFS10055686&logon=&langid=EN) it would be best to try to pick it up in store so the scan comes up correctly...

If you couldn't find yours with name and street #, you might want to give then a call. The submission id is shown when you look at status on their website.

When I originally checked the status, the website said I purchased the item outside the eligibility period. Called Logitech and the CSR said BB had the wrong Dept # on the rebate form from their website. The CSR transferred my info to the correct form and my rebate claim is now valid.

When I originally checked the status, the website said I purchased the item outside the eligibility period. Called Logitech and the CSR said BB had the wrong Dept # on the rebate form from their website. The CSR transferred my info to the correct form and my rebate claim is now valid.

Good luck everybody. If we get our rebates, we'll wind up paying $65 for a great set of speakers ;)

I was told by the Logitech CSR that the offer # on the BB rebate form was incorrect and this is the reason my rebate was rejected as being outside the rebate period. If the csr is right, using the old form is not going to work. She transferred my rebate information to form # 083051. My check is scheduled to be mail around April 5th.
