I'm not sure about the other big Canadian cities, but in Toronto $8 is about the price of a child's admission. An evening general admission is about $12 and more depending on where you go.

$18 for two SPC's.. which includes 2 tickets at the movie (pays for itself).. not too bad of a deal. Little perks inside I must say.. My gf would love the second cup treat of upgrading to the larger size for free... not too shabby.
