Looking for a couple of suits. Are there any places in the GTA that are known for having great boxing day prices and selection on decent suits? Looking to spend about $300 each.

Thanks and happy boxing day shopping!!

Brogue usually has a 50% off everything sale on Boxing Day. you can get a good suit in the $250-350 range after the 50% discount.

I believe there's a location at the Eaton Centre and one at First Canadian Place.

Maxwell Clothiers is coming to London at the end of january. You can't beat 3 custom shirts and a suit for $499.

I'm a gal, so I don't know much about guy's suits, but if you take a look at Pinstripe, I think their suits are pretty cheap all year round. Once, they had this offer going on where if you bought a suit, they'd give you a shirt, a tie, a pair of socks, and dress shoes. My boyfriend bought a suit for his company's banquet then for about $200 with everything included.

tom's place in kensington market

tom's prices are marked up by 200%, half price is not an exciting deal. besides, the quality of their merchandise is extremely poor, and the sales people are hard sellers. i stay away from that place.

Try the Bay at Eaton Centre.

I picked up a suit (women's) that was marked at $300 before for just $60 this past weekend [the pants were mismatched so I have to alter the pants quite a bit but it's worth it!].

That Bay also had amazing deals on Canada day.

either go to tip-top at dixie outlet mall, where the prices start at 99$ (sometimes with no tax) or moores outlet by the airport. suits there start at 99$ also.

stars usually does 50 percent off every year, but their regular prices are rediculously over priced, ive never seen any thing ever there on regular price so its not really to hot

Grafton and Co. used to have 50 percent off each year, and you could score a nice suit for 300, name brand like tommy or ck or kenneth cole

but i dont know cause the last time i went in there the prices went up like crazy

id probably recommend Grafton,

you shold always check out sears and the bay like their clearance racks, usually if a suit is on there for a while, they can give u a good deal on them. Last time at sears i got 2 van heusen suits for 100 bucks each, but that was just based on luck

in the other boxing day section there was a flyer, for tom's place having a 4 for 1 suit sale. Dunno what they carry, but it might be helpful. sale is already on.

MEXX has nice suites for $299 (jacket and matching pants).

I have my eye on one of them, so I am hoping their boxing day 50% off sale will also apply to the suites.

I dig the MEXX suits too.

Do any of these places have suits with European style cuts ( or at least not the ugly American box-cut fatsuits)?

Zara is another place that has nice suits w/ excellent European-style cutting but the quality is debatable.

You will always find a good price on a suits at

Brands Of Toronto - 416-489-7644
2005 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON M4S 1Z8

He usually has all sizes and is willing to alter to fix. He has prices as low as $100 and I have never paid more than $150 for a suit.

Last time I was there paid $200 for 1 jacket, 3 pants, 3 shirts, 8 socks and 1 tie with alterations.

Well, there's always the 3-for-1 deals at International Clothiers that I see advertised around boxing day every year.. but a lot of their stuff is of crap quality.
