Ok I washed my car yesterday. The week before I had waxed it. I sprayed some material on my rims to remove the break dust. I am pretty positive I did not get any on the car itself.
On the lower part of the door the paint does not feel smooth, and it looks like there is a mark of some sort. If I wet the spot the car appears normal, however it still does nto feel smooth like the rest of the car.
What can this be, and how can I fix it???

You'll probably need a clay bar to remove it.
Try www.eshine.ca for some high quality products. I've used his stuff for years.
A clay bar picks up embedded contaminants in paint. Stuff that you can't wash out like tar, brake dust, etc....

Any polishing or rubbing compound will take away the roughness in the area behind the wheel wells, you just need to add a wax afterwards. Rubbing compound is much cheaper than a clay bar and will do more as well.

DO NOT use rubbing compound. the second poster is right, use clay bar. Rubbing compound is an abrasive compound (basically similar to liquid sandpaper) and should be nowhere near any cars with clearcoat. If you rub with rubbing compound you're going to scratch off parts of your clearcoat on your paint
