Apperantly they dont offer advanced rma's anymore, they didnt give me an answer why but that didnt stop me. I bitched and moaned and stood my ground that i want one no matter what, apperantly they'll get back to me about it.
Also it seems like their support was moved to india, sad. They also spell your name out just incase they cant understand your normal accent, d is for dumbass, a is for assmuch, v is for verbally abusive, e is for elvis. They also spell your street name/city/province/country out like that too, i thought i was gonna hang up i couldnt take it anymore.
I think i'll stop buying seagate/maxtor drives from now, support is just pathetic.

goofball

That's not such a bad thing. Apparently, no one understands me as well when I spell out my street or give them the street number. 2 credit card companies sent my bills to the wrong address, then blamed me. Nice nice.

I actually haven't been happy with Seagate drives for the past 2 years. Everyone one of them I've owned has ended up going back and I just sell the returned drive. Now my Iomega external is giving me flak (Seagate inside). I'm tempted to just replace it with a WD instead.
