LF: Reco on a HT system to go with my Panny 42" Plasma

I don't know much about audio, but the Boxing Day deals have me thinking about picking something up... I use a SA8300HD box with it as well, if that matters. There seem to be a whole bunch of audio systems for <$300, which is perfect.... or would they just be crap with my current setup?

I should mention too that I have a 360 with the HD DVD kit.

I have my Panny Plasma, along with my 360 and a SA8300HD. Because everything is going into the TV now, can I buy a HTIB setup with an optical audio input and run it from the TV to the receiver?
