Has anyone seen a liquid deicing trucks on the highways before? I was driving on the 401 last night and I saw a truck with 2 orange flashers and one blue one. There was also a sign that read 'Liquid Deicing, Keep back 50 meters" Before I could get back to the 50m safety zone, the liquid started to pour out of the truck. It got all over my car and windshield.

I did go thought a car wash to get it off, but it there any need for more action?

This is relatively new here in North America. It works very well in lower temperatures and I have seen it used prior to a freezing rain warning to keep ice from forming.
