Hey guys, i'm in search for a 32" lcd.

I'm pretty much down to 3 tv's. I don't want a noname brand tv and I love Panasonics and Samsungs, my second options would be Sony and Toshiba.

I'm down to these tv's and i'm looking to spend <1200$ plux tax.

Samsung:

Panasonic:

Sony:

The Samsung at Leons has more features plus HDMI in comparisson to the Samsungs for the same price at Futureshop and BB.

I'm really leaning towards the Samsung. I would like to keep everything Samsung as well b/c I have a Samsung home theatre system so I want to keep everything the same. I'm really liking the Panasonic TV though plus its 100 bucks cheaper.

They all have HDMI and ATSC built in, except for the Sony I believe (doesen't have atsc)

Is there any other main features and specs I should be looking out for and comparing? I believe they all have PC inputs which is what I was looking for, but from a performance standpoint, what should I look for?

Anyone have any recommendations or suggestions?

I also heard prices are going to drop in the next mth, is this true? should I wait it out?

Thanks a lot

Have you gone to look/try any or all of the TVs? That's my first and best suggestion. Find one which has the features you want, you like the picture, and you find the interface intuitive.

true, but sometimes you can't really tell what the tv's full potential is due to the lighting, shows/movies that are playing on it and how it's physically hooked up (cable sdtv?)

*note* those son of a bitches at future shop just raised the price on the panasonic. it was 1099 at noon!!

I was sooo close to buying that Panasonic one at FS on boxing day. It was on their website for $1099 but i ended up getting the Sony Bravia 32S2010 for $1300. I got an extra $100 off !!(it helps to know ppl there) It's simply stunning! You can't go wrong with any of those choices really. The LG 32" LCD HDTV (32LC2D) for $999.99 is also a good choice and it has a 2 Years Parts & Labour warranty

a little off topic but i see everyone is really intersted in LCDs and Plasmas and DLPs are not being mentioned much. Any particular reason?
there are some good deals to be had on DLPs as well.....i.e. Toshiba 50" with dvd player for $1399?

I'm looking for a TV in my room. My room is quite small so I can't go larger than 32" and space is a big concern in my situation considering DLP's are huge and bulky (most).

I would consider a 50+" DLP for my living room for sure.

My friend just bought the sharp Aquos at A&B Sound yesterday for 999, Bestbuy has it for 899 but they were sold out. Great price for a 32

the panasonic is garbage, colors suck, case is ugly, horrible unit.
samsung is good, but that model is the entry level and doesn't even swivel.
sony is good, i prefer the 2010 as it's MUCH better
Also you should maybe look into the sharp aquos not toshiba, and don't waste your time with LG there's a reason why they give you 2yr. warranty, hee hee
