Not entirely sure as I don't have one but you need a Supercard Lite and a Key to play downloadable games.

Take a read at these threads:

There are a bunch of new carts that are coming out this week. Basically they are DS cartridges that either have build in memory or a slot to put in a micro sd card. Most cards now support dragging and dropping of roms/backups of games.

You can also play movies on your DS as well as music witha progam called Moonshell. its sort of a pda program for DS.

There are a bunch of other homebrew programs out there as well. My fav is Comic DS which lets you read downloaded comics on your DS with a very nice interface.

Don't forget about listening to music, instant messengers (MSN, Yahoo, AIM) with a homebrew program called Beup, and browse the internet with Opera DS.

You really do man. the things you can do with a ds these days is amazing. i havent even tried playing movies on mine yet but ive heard even that is easy and pretty decent quality. id say great to have some cartoons on or something like that.

I found trying to hack a DS very expensive and a pain.

Ive heard it can be done but its really slow unless you have a ram cart for slot to speed it up.

Yeah there are rom carts for DS and DS Lite. the new ones like the M3 DS Simply and the R4 DS are compatible with a ds phat or lite. only the slot 2 cards are model specific.

If anyone needs a Brand New 1GB Kingston MicroSD card for their Supercards/M3's, I got two for sale at $35 a piece.

Wow, never knew that the DS could become a PDA as well.

How well does a DS serve as a PDA?

Lots of good info on that site.

all the newer cards are VERy easy to use so you probably dont need to read up on this stuff much at all.
