Thanks.
I guess I should have clarified, looking for new.
I got an open box two days ago from FS and I don't even think the PSP was the same as what the box said. Serial numbers didn't match and the firmware was wrong.
Never gonna buy open box again. I only did because it wasn't the new firmware.
thanks

It's on for 199 at Real Canadian Supertstore, Dufferin and Steeles. Saw it alongside the 10 60GB PS3s they had last week. Looked like the normal price for it, not on sale.

Grrr no telephone number. Probably another reason I don't like Stupidstore along with NO customer service whatsoever.
They must be making a MINT! No labour = Big bucks for managers etc.
I guess I will take a drive over there.

Hmm back from the Richmond store here in Bc. They didn't have any in stock. I asked what the price was and she said $198.
I then asked if this was regular price and she claimed it was.
Anyone confirm the regular price at Stupidstore?
Everywhere else sells these at $229.

Saw it for that price @ marine drive yestarday. Also think i saw it at walmart for 198 on tuesday but not 100% sure (was looking for games but i think it was 198, phone and check if walmart is closer but if you live in richmond, marine superstore would be a lot closer).
Could also try to price match @ lansdown futureshop considering how close superstore is altho knowing fs there, they dont match anything (except bestbuy... wouldnt even match staples last time).

Hey thanks. I actually called around LOL quite a bit. Phoned all the Stupidstores (Marine and Rmd) no PSPs. Couldn't get thru to GrandviewHwy store.
But, suprisingly one SonyStore has some still for $199 but I am not sure of the firmware. Kinda outta the way for me but I will check it out tomorrow.
As for the price matching, Sonystores told me they don't have an actual flyer that states $199 so PM at BB is prob tough.
Kinda crazy for me to go thru all this. But $30 diff I figure its worth it. :)
If i was patient enough, I could just wait and I am sure they will go back on sale soon at BB or FS just not next week. Got the flyer tonight and no such luck.

Or you could just wait for the price drop:lol: Of course by then, the firmware of it would most likely be too new.
I'll be passing by grandviewHwy store either tomorrow or monday (well monday forsure, since school starts again and i go pass there to get to SFU). I can check after school for you if you still need it. Got to get some snacks anyways.:cheesygri
Which version of firmware was for homebrew games? I got it during the directcanada grand opening and never kept up on firmware versions since.

Well I am searching for any firmware below the letter "K" which you can find on the side of the box under the Voltage 120V I believe.
It will say SSP and then a letter beside that.
Thanks

Do you still need to do this? I thought new firmwares and hardware revision could be downgrader.
