HSBC is a returning scammer.
SCAMMER ALERT - Formerly user KingFlux.
2 years ago this kid tried to scam me. From what I was able to ascertain, he used other peoples paypal accounts, and reversed payment shortly after paying. Now he seems to be not providing the items promised.
See http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=146343 for details of 2 years ago.
I suggest avoiding him, as well as his heatware he is using -
Username dabid
Email dabidz@gmail.com
Location Toronto, Ontario
AVOID THIS USER and THE ABOVE HEATWARE.
What I still have on file about the scammer:
- located in downtown Toronto - all I can recall since I lost my files in a crash is that he lived VERY close to the area where there is a Blockbuster and a grocery store I cannot recall in the same plaza
- white male, young
I will do more research this weekend to determine whereabouts this kid lived, and also see if I can recover any documents as I usually keep info on all people I trade with, and I had a lot on this kid since he ripped me too.

Got scammed as well. If someone could get me his real name and address, I am sure I can work out some of these problems.

I've been trying to avoid this thread, yes i do know HSBC in person, hes a old friend of mine, I had nothing to do with this, and I had no knowledge that he was doing this, I have not confronted him about it yet, but I will NOT release any information about him, I hope this is a misunderstanding because he has had many successful deals in the past, I don't know why he would scam anybody, but i just want to make sure the mods know that I had nothing to do with it, I have 35 Heatware all positive. I hope this does not make any users worried about dealing with me, I do not even have a paypal account I usually deal locally and i am a trustworthy RFDer. I will talk to HSBC soon and get to the bottom of this.

Anybody have any updates?
I find it real odd that HSBC stated that he is really close to qaplmz and that hes always with him and yet, qaplmz knows nothing about this?

Could you pm me his msn email? Maybe i could be able to get ahold of him or maybe even his house phone number? If you don't talk to him much anymore you shouldn't have a problem with giving us his info since its pretty obvious that he's a scammer..

To anyone who knows this user. I have David Andrade as the name on his paypal account. Can confirm this is his real name. If anyone can confirm this I will talk to the police about this matter because this has gone on for years and could amount to a large sum of money.

And exactly how long does it take to "get to the bottom of this"?
How about you send David a nice lil email telling him that Sourii from rfd wants his ****ing simcard or his money back. Untill I get either one he IS a scammer whether you admit it or not.

i was scammed 350 once on emt. for a cell and ps2, but the buyer did not send anything and gay police said they can't really do anything even though I had all the info. and message history.. either way I just had to take this in as a lesson for me... people who got scammed.. dun waste time reporting it.. won't work.. just make sure next time you do local deals only..

The problem here is not shipping!! Why is everybody afraid of shipping deals? I've done around 100 shipping deals and only this one went bad ($70 lesson). Theres a big chance you could get scammed if you do local deals too! Haven't you heard of people using pepper spray?
The thing is, you gotta be carefull who you deal with not how you deal with members. Only deal with members with good feedback and you should be fine (shipping or not)

Did you ever talk to this guy? How about sharing contact info with the affected parties? Not real nice to withhold a scammer's contact info. Give it to a mod or admin, at least!

totaly forgot about this..
I managed to get in touch with David and talk to him about the situation (no thanks to qaplmz).
What he told me was that he hadn't logged into his rfd account for a while and that he doesn't use paypal and doesn't do shipping. I was skeptical at first and I didn't beleive him. However after checking through his posts, I noticed that he did, infact, only do local deals except for the last few posts made from his account which were basically too good to be true prices.
If a mod could do an IP check for HSBC's posts that were made recently and compare it with the IP for his posts that were made a while back or even try to match the ip with another user here on rfd that would be great..
