Disabling Office 2003 updates?

I have MS Office 2003 installed on my Windows XP SP2.... The windows update runs fine but MS Office 2003 updates fail every time I think because it's in different language or possibly, spyware. I have tried Adaware and Spybot but nothing suspicious was found. I like having my updates automatically downloaded and ask me to install but since I always have problems installing Office updates, I would like to disable them for good.

I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me how I can disable Office 2003 updates.
