Dominos Pizza - Is it just me or....?

Does anyone else have to rush to the washroom shortly after eating pizza from Dominos or is it just me? It also has the same effect on my boyfriend.

Dominos is HUGE in the States (much like Dunkin Donuts) but have both failed miserably to capture the imagination of Canadian consumers. If you want a good (but not necesarily cheap) pizza, then go with Pizza Nova.

Haven't had dominos in years... but maybe its just salty? makes your kidneys work harder and fills your bladder?

Most pizza's are quite high in salt content (at least thats what i think..)

Totally agree!!! Yet our company's departments keep ordering them for team lunches!!! I try to persuade the buyers to get anything but Pizza Pizza...

I think people order it because it's cheap, but you get what you pay for.
Pizza from Pizza Pizza is comparable to stale cardboard - the only thing it might be good for is a game of frisbee.

I haven't had Dominos Pizza since elementary school when we had pizza day once a month. I found it a bit greasy. Now-a-days I usually go to Pizza Pizza when I feel like a pizza.

The best part about Dominoes is the sauce they use...

It depends on the person. For me I have a much stronger stomach than most people and I can tolerate anything. I found Dominos to be the best among all the big franchises like Pizza Pizza and Pizza Nova. It has been years since I have had Dominoes so things might have changed.

Really? I tried it last week for the first time ever and it tasted like any mom and pops kind of pizza. Maybe it was the worker who made my pizza, because she looked so bored, was really young looking and was on the phone while making it...The cheesy bread thingie was sooooo good though! But I could feel my heart beating slower after eating it, lol.

Pizza hut is sooooo greasy compared to Dominos. One more vote for Dominos here, too. I also like Panago, their Taco pizza is soooo good! {The super Beef taco, I think it is called.} It just depends on what you are in the mood for.

domino's is DA BEST in my book. just love their double pepperoni pizza. pizza pizza used to be my favorite... it was really good and cheap. but what the heck has happened to them now. they freakin charge $2.75 for delivery, but the drivers still expects to be tipped generously. and i dunno if all the pizza pizza locations are like that but everytime i order, either crust is undercooked and top is way overcooked or the otherway around.

Pizza Hut is really good for a chain place.
Exept in the US do NOT go to the Pizza Hut Express Drive through>:(
You get your pan pizza in about 2 minutes and it is totally not cooked.

I had 3/4 of my pan pizza as I was starving and hadn't eaten all day and it was so undercooked I ended up punking and it was really gross.

I almost feel like writing to their office in the US about that, maybe they will send me a free pizza?

When I do eat pizza, I prefer the ones from Pizza Hut & Dominos. Must be the grease or something.

For those of you in the K-W area, Pepi's Pizza is the BEST...hands down...they have two locations. One on Weber and Franklin and the other on Courtland, across from the Schneider's plant.

What makes them good? The crust, sauce and they LOAD it with toppings. I do find the Courtland location better than the weber though...so go there :)
